Night of Comedy at the Central City Opera House Roseanne and Louie Anderson are performing at the Central City Opera House with two great performances: Louie at 6pm and Roseanne at 8pm. Plus a Silver Circle Reception at 5pm with a meet and greet with Louie. Prices: Silver Circle Reception: $150, General Admission: $40, Premier Balcony and Premier Orchestra: $100. Annual Georgetown COOK-OFF The second year of an amazing Dutch Oven event and share with us your own version of Miner's Stew or Cobbler. Free admission to the event! Tastings are just a buck each! All proceeds benefit Historic Georgetown, Inc. Come participate in the cook-off or just come taste what Georgetown has to offer! 10am until 4pm. Enjoy the beer and brat garden in Strousse Park, games on the Hamill House Lawn, horse-drawn carriage rides, and great live music. Entry forms are due September 14. For 50 years, Georgetown has been hosting this marvelous outdoor European-inspired Market featuring handcrafted gifts, horse-drawn wagon rides, free entertainment and admission, carolers, roasted chestnuts, appearances by St. Nicholas in his traditional robes, and the Santa Lucia Childrens Procession.
